Escapade and songvids have a long history. (Just ask Jennifer, who spent the first Escapade vid show shuffling VHS tapes in and out of a VCR at the front of a small meeting room.) The Escapade vid show continues to evolve in the ongoing effort to create an enjoyable watching experience.
- We will be staying with one formal show on Saturday night, with Friday being available for informal showings. There will be separate rooms for quiet and rowdy viewing on Saturday.
- We will try to showcase the widest variety of vidders possible, with a priority given to vids premiering at Escapade this year.
- The tech track and alternate programming rooms will continue to be available for vidders who wish to organize their own showings.
- Escapade does not censor or screen vids for content. View responsibly.
Vidshow instructions & Registration Information
Registration for vid show and sonvid upload will open December 15, 2011. The deadline for video submissions will be January 16, 2012 11:59pm EST. Earlier submissions are, of course, welcome. Submissions will not be accepted by hand at the convention.
